Reading without an account
The site has no reader accounts, subscription forms or contact-data forms. Fonts and page images are served by the site.
Analytics
With your consent, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and page views. Before consent, its code is not loaded and visit data is not sent to Google Analytics. You can decline. Your choice is saved in your browser. You can at any time. Google explains how it processes data from partner sites.
Search
Site search runs in your browser using a local index. Your query is not sent to a search or AI service. It forms part of the page URL, so it may remain in browser history and server logs.
Cookies and external video
We do not use advertising cookies. With consent, Google Analytics 4 may set analytics cookies. On articles with video, the YouTube player loads when the browser approaches the video block. Your browser then contacts Google, which receives technical connection data under its own policy. Playback starts after a user action. You can also open the video separately on YouTube.
Email and technical logs
Contact links open your email application. If you send a message, the recipient receives your address, message and attachments. The site is hosted on Netlify, which may log request times, URLs, IP addresses and errors to operate and protect the service.
